Brand development by studio Futura for Costa Caribe, a residential project located in Tulum, Quintana Roo.
Here comes another beautiful branding project by Futura. The Mexican studio was recently commissioned to develop a visual identity for Costa Caribe, a residential project located in the city of Tulum, Quintana Roo. Studio Futura came up with the idea of creating a brand experience inspired by “the golden hour”, which is known as the most romantic time on the beach. This magical moment shortly after sunrise or before sunset covers the entire landscape in a pleasant golden glow. It’s a moment of calm and enjoyment.
Futura’s creative team designed a range of minimalist and abstract illustrations in order to reflect the dreamy nature of this ancient Mayan city. The logo is based on a grotesque typography, which is easy to read. It gives the visual identity a fresh and modern look. In contrast, the serif typography, which has been used for several editorials, brings professionalism and seriousness to the design.
