Check out the natural visual identity of BAZ & CO, a skincare brand created by a farmer.
The creative people of London-based graphic design studio Otherway partnered with the founder of BAZ & CO to position, brand, and launch a completely new approach to skincare. The brand name comes from the hero ingredient, basil—the king of herbs. Grown in innovative vertical farms, using 95% less land and 95% less water than traditional farming.
Driven by the need to use easily recyclable materials, the packaging reflects the ideal of simplicity through a very transparent and clean design language and fully recyclable packaging made of aluminum and glass. The typography is inspired by referencing instruction manuals, signage, and farm vernacular, with one foot in the country and the other in the lab.
