Transworld Surf.
San Diego, California based independent graphic design studio Wedge & Lever was entrusted with the redesign of the Transworld Surf magazine in late 2011. Goal was to create a more vivid visual experience based on a new corporate design as well as a photo-driven layout. The redesign resulted in an immediate increase in market-share and continued gaining until May of 2013 when the publication was purchased by its main competitor and unfortunately shut down.
Wow. The design is absolutely gorgeous, as a photographer I’d feel comfortable with my images in a publication like this. Shame they shutdown.
