From April 12 – 17, 2016, the Tortona Design Week will celebrate a colorful mix of creative ideas, innovative solutions, and cultural productions. Base Milano, the new center for design and creativity will open its doors in Milan’s Tortona district. The center will be host to internationally known industrial and interior designers as well as diverse companies and universities. You can find further information about this great event below.
To celebrate the beginning of this long-awaited event, an opening party on Monday 11 at 9.30 PM will be the perfect match with finest Rock’n’Roll, Beat, Soul, Britpop, and Indie Rock music.
BASE Milano is a new place for cultural progress in the historical space of the former Ansaldo factory. The 2016 edition of the Tortona Design Week welcomes internationally known guests such the original Visual Making laboratory (an exhibition for digital fabrication and handmade artistic prints), the European network Human Cities/Challenging the City Scale, the collective exhibition of Designersblock, SMART PARK by Reply, the special bookshop by OnPrintedPaper with Abitare, etc.
