Factoria, a geometric and square slab serif font family by Mattox Shuler of Fort Foundry.

Typeface designer Mattox Shuler of Fort Foundry has created the Factoria font family out of his earlier design for the Industry typeface. Factoria is a geometric and square slab serif font with a striking look & feel. Its unique design can be used for various applications. It works pretty well for signage on industrial buildings as well as magazines or screen design. Factoria’s lighter versions provide a clean appearance, while its thicker weights have a more sturdy character.

The complete type family comprises 16 fonts including 8 weights (ranging from Thin to Ultra) as well as matching italic versions. You can use Factoria together with its sans-serif counterpart, the Industry type family. The several OpenType features include tabular figures, fractions, subscripts, superscripts, numerators, and denominators.
