Whimsical Playing Arts by Oksal Yesilok

Whimsical Playing Arts – known playing card symbols graphically reinterpreted by Oksal Yesilok.

Limited to an edition of only 200 decks, Oksal Yesilok has created this visually eye pleasing reinterpretation of common playing cards. Named “Whimsical Playing Arts”, the Turkish designer has transformed each symbol into an aesthetic visual language based on monochrome illustrations in simple lines and shapes. Each deck consists of 54 cards including the four symbols of Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, and Clubs. More information below.

Using narrow lines and only one color, the images of each card are based on a uniform design concept. In contrast to the front, the back of each card has been designed with a modern 3D appearing diamond texture. The neon-colored edges of the cards provide a very stylish finish.
