A minimalist poster series by Neil Stevens of iconic cycling jerseys, which were worn by famous Tour de France cyclists.

Back in 2013, when the Tour de France celebrated its centenary, Neil Stevens has created a minimalist print series depicting iconic cycling jerseys of famous Tour de France cyclists to take a look back into the history.

Since yesterday with a time trial in the city of Utrecht, Netherlands, the tour is back in full swing for 2015. I think this is a good occasion to present you this beautiful prints of iconic cycling jerseys. Neil Stevens is a London based illustrator with a great passion for cycling and the Tour de France. He says he always loved the style and look of cycling jerseys including the colors, logos, and the typography.

With this print series, Neil Stevens wanted to highlight some successful heroes but also tragic cyclists like Tom Simpson. Below you can see some of the prints depicting iconic Tour de France cycling jerseys of Eddy Merckx, Tom Simpson, Jacques Anquetil, Robert Millar, Raymond Poulidor, Fausto Coppi, Mark Cavendish, Bernard Hinault, and Bradley Wiggins.
