Streamtime—Project Management Software: graphic design, re-branding, web and user interface design by agency For The People.
The Australian graphic design and strategy agency For The People was asked to re-design Streamtime‘s project management tool for the creative industry of today and the future. In addition, they have produced a whole new brand identity that visualizes the massively simplified application and working practices. Please read more details about the entire project below.
Challenge & Solution
In the past, Streamtime was software that needed to be installed. The 14 year old business had to reinvent itself to rip-up the past and to build a new project management software that easily competes with the tools of the future. Like many other mature software companies, it had suffered from feature creep.
In just a few months, agency For The People redesigned the product from scratch to enable a tool where to-do lists are the new timesheets. The new user interface is based on behavior that many people already practice instead of a routine that many of us refuse. Read more below the next image.
In addition to the interface, all communications have been completely revitalized. The new visual experience is based on this new foundation of the software, the easy to use to-do list. Even the logo design gives a subtle nod to the idea of time and tasks. Below you can find much more images of the project.
