Rebels Studios is a Stockholm, Sweden based full-service creative agency focusing on film, branding, graphic and interactive design. The studio was asked by Size Records to help them with a new brand identity.
Music provides the freedom to create something completely new and unique. With this in mind, they wanted to develop a brand experience that transmits this philosophy into the new look. They came up with the idea that every new release gets a unique cover artwork without losing the factor of recognition. They mixed different colors with liquids and transfered it onto paper. The result is a marbling effect, which is fairly easy to achieve but impossible to reproduce. This special process has been used to create a series of art pieces for upcoming releases.
