Sinews Sans Pro, a new font family for interfaces recently published by TypeMates.

Hello folks, there it is, a new (yet old) font family from foundry TypeMates. Originally published in 2012, the Sinews Sans Pro family has been extensively renovated for the regional brands Balay, Profilo, Pitsos, and Constructa of BSH Hausgeräte GmbH. Published just a few days ago, the font is now available for everyone with Latin, Cyrillic, and Greek language support, completely new curves and hinting for the use on screen.

The contemporary proportions and open forms provide a technical look and feel. Across seven weights and styles, each character is based on the same width, which makes Sinews Sans Pro a great choice for all kinds of interface design and typography. At large sizes, you will probably notice certain details of calligraphic origins such as the clipping of the letters ‘l’ and ‘i’. Jakob Runge, the designer of Sinews Sans, has combined this with an industrial touch, which gives the family its unique appearance.

The family is now available at MyFonts.
