Street photographer Michele Palazzo captured stunning images of New York City at last week’s blizzard ‘Jonas’.
The colossal blizzard named ‘Jonas’ affected over 80 million people all along the east coast of the United States. Especially the metropolitan area of New York was particularly hard hit by the snowstorm. With more than 26 inches of snow in less than 24 hours, Jonas was the second biggest blizzard in New York City’s history.
Street photographer Michele Palazzo happened to be there at the time and he managed to capture beautiful shots of these chaotic weather conditions. His photographs give us an impression of the strong winds and the extremely heavy snowfall. Michele Palazzo captured people as they struggle their way through the snow as well as lonely streets where cars usually stuck in traffic jams. You can see the snow-filled air, the heavy winds as well as the snowy roads and sidewalks. Below you can see a small selection of his images.
Michele Palazzo is sharing more of his photographs via his Instagram account, feel free and check it out here.
