Nuart Festival 2016

The term of ‘Post-Street Art’ introduced for the first time ever at Nuart Festival 2016.

Did you hear about Norway’s Nuart Festival? Started already in 2001, it’s an internationally renowned contemporary street and urban art festival, held annually in Stavanger, Norway. The event is widely considered as the world’s leading celebration of street art and urban culture. The festival of 2016 has opened its doors on September 11 and it will run until October 16, 2016. For the first time ever, the event presents the term of ‘Post-Street Art’, a name that was chosen to describe artistic expressions that are widely informed by diverse strategies and forms of Street Art. On the other hand, these expressions show further developments and completely new interpretations of this movement. Please read more below the first image.
