Photographer Michele Palazzo decided to let go of the ownership of his iconic shot of the Flatiron Building during a snowstorm in 2016 by putting it for sale in an edition of 1 as NFT (Non-Fungible Token) on the Opensea platform.

Some of you may remember our feature of Michele Palazzo’s New York City photo series captured in 2016 during the colossal blizzard named ‘Jonas’ that affected over 80 million people all along the east coast of the United States. The series included an iconic photo of the Flatiron Building in the heart of the blizzard. After much thinking, Michele Palazzo (@streetfauna) decided to let go of the ownership of the famous photo and put it for sale in an edition of 1 as NFT (Non-Fungible Token) on the Opensea platform. Whoever is going to win the auction will become the owner of this iconic shot.
