The architectural design of House Eccleston in Bryanston, Johannesburg, South Africa by Nico and Werner van der Meulen.
The renowned architects of Nico and Werner van der Meulen have completed House Eccleston, a residential project located in Bryanston, Johannesburg, South Africa.
The overal architectural design of this open plan glass and concrete house is inspired by the client’s fondness of mid 20th century modernism. Besides many private and public spaces, House Eccleston also includes a music room for the family to play musical instruments as well as a dance studio for the children. Another striking feature of the house is a large reflective koi pond that flows over a retaining wall next to the drive way. The double volume entrance hall is used as formal lounge facing the pool and the garden beyond.
M Square Lifestyle Design was commissioned for the interior design. You can find more information about this residential project on: www.nicovdmeulen.com
