Philipp Zurmöhle is a German freelance illustrator and graphic designer residing in Portland, Oregon, USA. The multi talented creative mind specializes in a wide range of commissioned work including logo and brand development as well as illustration, apparel graphics, advertisement, and communication design. Originally from Hannover, Germany, Philipp Zurmöhle lived in Oslo and Nürnberg before he moved to Portland in 2016. Over the past few years, he worked for a variety of clients including major brands such as Rolling Stone Magazine, Adidas, T-Mobile, and Urban Outfitters. Philipp Zurmöhle was hired to create a series of ad and postcard illustrations for Herr Menig Optik, a local optician based in Nürnberg, Germany. The visually appealing approach of this bold advertising concept is fresh, unique, and absolutely variable in several ways. Philipp has created one unique illustration for each month highlighting Herr Menig Optik’s outstanding collection of fashionable eyewear.
