Logo and rebrand concept for the Dubai International Film Festival.
In 2013, Australian graphic designer Ryan Atkinson was part of a team working on a rebrand pitch for the Dubai International Film Festival. They had to develop a complete new visual identity proposal for this international film event. The task was to retain a horse icon as distinctive logo. The design team came up with the idea of creating a dynamic 3D sculptural icon. In addition, they produced design concepts for a range of communication tools, stationery, and several advertisement tools such as posters and promotional items.
Unfortunately they did not win the pitch. However, the result of their work looks great and it’s worth to show. Below you can see some images of the rebrand pitch.
