Contemporary Art Dominated Dorotheum Auction Week

We saw a great success of contemporary art at the Dorotheum auction week.

The Dorotheum auction week (held from November 24th–27th, 2015) was characterised by numerous top results of artworks created by world famous contemporary artists. We saw spectacularly high prices for works by Gerhard Richter (€491,000 EUR), Agostino Bonalumi (€442,200 EUR), Paolo Scheggi (€393,400 EUR), Maria Lassnig (€344,600 EUR), and many others. Only on contemporary art, the Dorotheum auction week made a turnover of €13.7 million EUR.
