Aire, a big display font family with festive flourishes and frames.

Maximiliano Sproviero, a Buenos Aires based type designer created the Aire font family in 2012 (Publisher: Lián Types). This big and festive display font family is equipped with beautiful ligatures, alternates, and a huge character set that also supports the complete cyrillic alphabet. Besides its decorative design, Aire’s overall impression offers a touch of lightness and delicateness.

Maximiliano Sproviero’s aim was to create a typeface based on feminine, more fragile shapes and lines. He wanted to develop a festive type that provides an elegant look with fresh air inside. The Aire font family comes with many members in order to provide more decorative options for your headlines and titling.

Aire can be both playful and formal. Without the use of decorative alternates, you can also use it for short to medium texts, but with activated OpenType decorative glyphs, you can create festive headlines.
