The international design consultancy M35 was engaged to help redefine the AFTRS brand in its entirety.
Over the course of several decades, AFTRS (Australian Film Television and Radio School) has produced more Academy award winners than most other film schools in the world. After a strategic transformation in wholesale, M35 was commissioned to redefine the AFTRS brand identity in its entirety.
Following a consultative 9-month process engaging all levels of the organization, the resulting visual experience is based on a motion-first branding system. It is communicating the fundamentals of contemporary storytelling and marking the School’s place in history. The design system has been applied across all channels and forms.
