Illustrations by Klemt

The illustrative work by French artist Klemt.

Klemt is the name of this remarkable Limoges, France based artist and illustrator. For more than 7 years, the artist creates illustrations that are reflections of his mind – mixed with various influences. It’s his effort to illustrate the irony and all the unexpected things resulting from the confrontation of the conscious and the unconscious. Various elements of his real environment collide with fictional worlds of his mind. The result is a surreal combination of playful illustrations, graphics, and a kind of simplification.

According to the artist: “The only home where man can truly take refuge in this world is his mind.”

Below you can enjoy some artworks which have sprung from his mind. I hope you enjoy this fine selection. For more, check out here.
