Mid-century vintage and art deco inspired illustrations by Willian Santiago.

Based in the city of Londrina, Willian Santiago is a Brazilian illustrator and graphic designer whose work draws inspiration from mid-century design as well as minimalist graphics and the elegance of art deco. A series of digital collages and Willian Santiago’s corporate identity proposal for Barro Blue Ceramics have been featured already on WE AND THE COLOR. Today I want to introduce you to his outstanding illustrative work. Willian’s illustrations are characterized by this sense of minimalism using a varied mix of geometric shapes along with a selected range of colors and playful elements. As already mentioned, his work is deeply inspired by the style of mid-century art and design with a touch of art deco and minimalism.
