Wikipedia Redesign Concept

Wikipedia redesign concept, a student user interface and web design project.

George Kvasnikov is a user interface and graphic designer from Russia, currently living in Berlin, Germany. He was part of a team at the Fachhochschule Potsdam – University of Applied Sciences that created this Wikipedia redesign concept.

With no doubt, Wikipedia is one of the most popular and most visited websites in the world, but it hasn’t been changed its main design during the last 10 years. This project was meant to explore a better web design and user interface experience for this famous online encyclopedia. The main keys were to develop an interactive user interface, which is based on current web design trends and techniques with a clean, readable, and still useful site layout.
