Die Visualität des Vergessens/The Visuality of Oblivion, a book design by Tina Schüler.
As part of her thesis, Tina Schüler has created this book as a typographic and photographic as well as infographic reflection on the visuality of oblivion. Perception works through the interaction of stimuli, which is comparable to a multimedia sequence in form of a constantly changing instance. Photography as a medium can capture the fraction of a second or a certain perception.
In its one-dimensionality, can photography superimpose our multidimensional memory or can externalized memory destroy the inherent memory? Under the use of scientifically developed content as well as images and infographics, Tina Schüler tries to answer these questions. The publication shows her great skills in the areas of concept and design. Below you can see some images of the book including the cover and a variety of pages.
