The Realms of Middle Earth

A map of the realms of Middle Earth illustrated by studio MUTI.

As big fans of J. R. R. Tolkien’s popular books and their film adaptations, the team of studio MUTI decided to illustrate a map of Middle Earth, the setting for The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. They illustrated all realms of Middle Earth including numerous landmarks which were prominent in these stories. Below you can see the final map as well as some close ups of the different regions, realms, and landmarks.

You can also find some previous work created by the Cape Town, South Africa based studio featured on WE AND THE COLOR.
