New York City based Studio Newwork was commissioned by photographer Ryan Slack to work on his visual identity system including logotype, stationery, and a new website.
Ryan Slack is a New York based photographer with focus on portrait photography as well as still-life and lifestyle photography. He works for a wide range of well known advertising and editorial clients.
Studio Newwork’s approach was focused on a clean and minimalist photographer identity based on simple typographic design. The color combination of red on white was chosen to reflect the photographer’s vitality and energy. Ryan Slack’s logotype fits in a thick frame. It gives a contemporary look and feel. The complete visual identity looks simple, modern, and rather restrained to get the focus on Ryan Slack’s photographic work.
