Paintings by Serbian artist Mladen Vračarić.
Born in 1985, Mladen Vračarić is a young visual artist who currently lives in Serbia and the Netherlands. He received his MFA from the Academy of Novi Sad Serbia. Whether sculptures or paintings, his work features some kind of “secret world”. Far away from urban places of everyday life, the natural scenes are both familiar and unusual at the same time. The various animals serve as self-portraits and studies of life. He has received an award of the Nis Art Foundation in 2013. During the past years, his work has been exhibited in countries such as Serbia, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Germany. A small selection of paintings can be found below.
