Based in Berlin, Germany, Guenter Zimmermann is an art director specializing in mixed media and digital work. His series ‘Pattern and people’ portraits various people in a rather stylized context. The artist says “Digital work is very forgiving. Any mistakes are easily erased and this saves time and paper. Of course, on the other hand, the artistic decision is deprived of its radicalism. I would have loved to have seen Vincent van Gogh working on an iPad.”
