Bubblegraphy is a collection of different ceramic vases that are finished with soap glaze. By blowing air into the glaze, Thomas van der Sman and Adrianus Kundert create bubbles. By immersing the ceramics into the bubbles, the designers create a mesmerizing effect.
No vase resembles another. This handmade design process always creates a unique bubble look on the surface. The three-dimensional structure of the bubbles leaves a layered pattern that gives each vase its individual look.
Studio Oddness’ Bubblegraphy collection currently consists of 6 vases of different shapes and sizes ranging from a small cup to a large vessel (600 mm height).
