Shanghai-based freelance illustrator Yulong Lli created a series of European city guide illustrations for Airbnb.
Represented by Richard Solomon in NYC, Yulong Lli is a Shanghai-based freelance illustrator. He studied Visual Communication in the UK as a funded exchange program student and received his MFA from the China Academy of Art in 2020.
He was recently commissioned to create a series of illustrations for Airbnb’s European city guide. The goal was to focus on the citizens’ diversity and daily lives instead of conveying an image full of stereotype landmarks. The beautiful result can be seen below.
