The Senses issue of A-magazine, a new publication produced by Naked Communications.
London based agency Naked Communications recently published the first issue of A-magazine, a unique publication that offers a unique reading experience. Francesca Oddenino was head of a team that has been working on A-magazine’s first edition. Goal of the new magazine is to offer constant questioning. It’s not that kind of magazine that gives easy answers. The idea is to give readers the opportunity to interpret certain content in their own way. The magazine just aims to ignite the thought process.
The launch edition is about ‘Senses’. Due to a challenging thought-provoking experience, it explores the potential of each of our senses. As the founder and creative director of the A-magazine, Francesca Oddenino’s dealt with the overall branding and naming process as well as the conception and structure of the print publication. Furthermore, she was responsible for the entire art direction of the photo shoots and the physical creation of the props, the design of the layout, the choice of paper stocks, the binding and the finishing.
Francesca Oddenino collaborated with Swiss Typefaces (swisstypefaces.com), which allowed her to use new typefaces and push the experimentation any further. For more information about the magazine, feel free and check out here.
