Spirals, a digital art series by Ari Weinkle of experiments in color, rhythm, and repetition.
Ari Weinkle is a Boston based artist and designer. His work is characterized by fragmented entities consisting of different colors and shapes. He is always looking for new juxtapositions between colors, shape and patterns. Ari Weinkle’s inspiration comes from historical Japanese art, Native American iconography, abstract expressionism, surrealism, and philosophy.
The following artworks are part of his Spirals series that features different experiments in color, rhythm, and repetition. The Boston based artist and designer used Adobe Photoshop and Cinema 4D to create these abstract shapes and colors. For more of Ari Weinkle’s work, please vsit the website: ariweinkle.com

The optics contained within these pieces are fantastic and really push the boundaries of what color and line can do to affect perception and perspective. If you’re interested, check out my post about Alexis Arnold’s show, light/weight. She works with similar themes.
