Nvard Yerkanian is an Armenian freelance graphic designer and illustrator currently based in Florence, Italy. Her illustration series of Soviet modernist architecture in Armenia is an ongoing project. It is intended to be a tribute to the architectural heritage that is either lost or unfairly undervalued. Nvard Yerkanian’s goal is to reveal the beauty and value of Soviet-modernism to the indifferent public through the magic of colors that accentuate the simple yet fantastic forms of these monuments.
