Type designer Stawix Ruecha recently published Sans Beam, an extensive and versatile sans serif font family. With Sans Beam, Stawix Ruecha wanted to created a versatile typefaces that can be used for different applications ranging from headlines to body texts. In addition, Sans Beam works great with other fonts of the Stawix Foundry. The full family is based on the simple concept of choose, play, and repeat. Sans Beam consists of a special typeface for body text as well as a typeface for headers. Both styles are equipped with 15 different weights ranging from ‘Hair’ to ‘Ultra’ plus matching Italic versions for each weight. The full family is available on MyFonts as both ordinary desktop font and webfont. As already mentioned, the family can be used for a wide range of applications. The versatile weights and styles are a great choice for striking titles on billboards or posters or use the legible ‘middleweights’ for texts in books or magazines. Due to a meticulously accurate kerning, the typeface is always very legible, also in very small text sizes.
