PAPERMEAL cocktail series – paper stop-motion animations created by Yelldesign.

PAPERMEAL is an ongoing web series developed by the creative group at Yelldesign, an animation studio based in Melbourne, Australia that specializes in stop-motion animations. Today they have launched the second series of PAPERMEAL: ‘COCKTAILS’. Each video shows an iconic cocktail being created in an unusual way. Everything on screen including props, backgrounds, liquids and glasses are made with paper. Todd Watts of Yelldesign told us that the most challenging part of the production was figuring out how to construct the glasses. They used a range of translucent tracing papers and colored card to give a frosted effect. The series of 5 animations took 3 months to produce and included 9 designers. For additional information, please visit the PAPERMEAL website or follow studio Yelldesign on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Some additional images can be found below the videos. Enjoy!
