Membranes – Drawings by David Sauceda

Selected artworks from the Membranes series by David Sauceda.

Monterrey, Mexico based artist David Sauceda has created a series of drawings to explore the concept of identity as a membrane. Intangible and invisible structures outside the human body serve as lines and filters of information between our environment and the individual’s psychological self. All the membranes are in a constant state of change and adaptability, leading to the development of our human identity and personality. It is a never-ending collective process in a constant state of development and malleability.

Below you can see three selected pieces of David Sauceda “Membranes” series. For more images and information about the artistic project, check out his profile on Behance.
