Discover the Fourth font family, a contemporary script with a calligraphic touch.
Here comes another font recommendation! This time I want to show you the new Fourth font family. This lovely roundhand script typeface has been designed in 2016 by Jason Vandenberg. The full family consists of 7 weights ranging from thin to an ultra fat version as well as a set of stylish extras. It was Jason Vandenberg’ approach to create a very legible script that draws inspiration from classic handwritings and calligraphy. Fourth’s style is reminiscent of classic baseball scripts and sign paintings as well as vintage brand design. The collection of extras includes a great variety of ornament that can be used for different applications such as logos or other decorative purpose. Fourth’s refined shapes are both elegant and legible.
Jason Vandenberg has equipped this family with numerous typographic features such as contextual alternates and stylistic alternates, swash capitals and swash lowercase letters, underlines and catchwords. All of these features will help you to create your own custom style. The contextual alternates have been developed to give you the opportunity to create smoother initial and ending forms. The set of stylistic alternates is available for the letters s, r, l, f, k, and z. They give these letters a more substituted look and feel.
