Swiss 721 and Swiss 911 Fonts.

Late Swiss type designer Max Miedinger has created the original Swiss font. The clear and geometric typeface has set standards over the years. Max Miedinger quickly developed the extensive Swiss 721 font family with weights ranging from Thin to Black plus matching Italics and included Outline versions. In addition, he created Swiss 721 Rounded and Swiss 721 Hebrew, both with 2 weights.

Type designers Hans Jörg Hunziker and Matthew Carter completed the family with Swiss 911, an additional compressed version, which is available in 3 weights. Over the years, further subfamilies were created based on the original Swiss font design specifications from Max Miedinger. All of these Swiss fonts offer a precise design and kerning. This versatile sans serif font family works great for both as a display font for striking headlines and legible text font. The Swiss fonts including each subfamily are available as web fonts and desktop fonts, published by type foundry Bitstream.

All families including Swiss 721, Swiss 721 Rounded, Swiss 721 Hebrew, and the additional Swiss 911 compressed version are available for purchase on Myfonts.

  1. You do understand that everything you are describing as Swiss 721 here is actually Helvetica, and that Miedinger never ever designed a typeface called Swiss 721?
