ITC Avant Garde Gothic – Type Family.

ITC Avant Garde Gothic is a complete font family based on Avant Garde magazine’s logotype and headline typeface. Ed Benguiat has created the original condensed fonts in 1974, while the oblique versions were created in 1977 by André Gürtler, Erich Gschwind and Christian Mengelt. The font family includes 40 fonts in total. ITC‘s OpenType version offers all original 33 alternate characters and ligatures, plus several extra characters.
