Can Pekdemir is a mixed media artist living and working in Istanbul, Turkey. His work mainly deals with the deformation of organic shapes as well as the human body. Can Pekdemir uses diverse techniques to create these experimental digital artworks. He transforms different forms into altered physical conditions by placing and effecting them with mathematical equations.
The collection of experimental digital artworks from the “Fur” series I & II include different experiments on upper head. They show fur and hair growth abnormality, covering all parts of the head or acting like wild growing plants.
