Editorial Illustration.

John Holcroft is an illustrator based in Sheffield, United Kingdom. In his early childhood John Holcroft spent most of his time drawing and painting. Later he was working in several temporary design jobs and he practiced his illustrations in the spare time. Since 1996 John Holcroft works as a professional freelance illustrator. The first years he drew and painted all his artworks on canvas and paper. In 2001 he started to familiarise himself with different digital techniques and began executing his illustrations using a Wacom tablet.

Nowadays he creates editorial illustrations for a broad range of well known clients such as BBC, Financial Times, or The Guardian.
