Darya Shnykina is a freelance illustrator who creates calm, introspective, and emotional artwork with a sketchy, wavering line and a restrained and soothing color palette. She uses digital techniques but retains the charm of traditional materials and textures.
As a personal project, she created three alternative posters for the novel Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, which you can see on her Behance profile. The posters depict scenes from the book, such as Charlie’s house, the biology class, and the welcome sign of Forks. They capture the mood and atmosphere of the story with a minimalist and elegant style.
