Trek Madone 9 – 2016 Edition

The 2016 Trek Madone 9 – the design of a perfect race bike!

Jonathan Russell is an industrial designer and craftsman working in the road and mountain bike team at the Trek Bicycle Corporation. He recently published some images of the new Trek Madone 9 (2016 Edition).

This beautiful race bike is the result of totally uncompromised design and engineering. With the 2016 Madone 9, Trek’s engineers designed a race bike that offers a perfect aerodynamic frame with a very comfortable handling. All tubes were manufactured using the Iso Speed technology, cables are fully hidden, and the brakes are perfectly integrated into the frame. The 2016 Trek Madone 9 is based on absolute precision and latest technology.

Industrial design was done by Jonathan Russell and David Blomme, photography by Trek’s marketing team. Below you can see some images of this sexy road bike as well as a making-of video at the end of the post. Enjoy it!

  1. It’s such a neat race bike. If I could try riding one, then maybe I can decide whether or not to buy it. As for now, I’d just be happy and contented with my Morpheus bike.
