The Pom Pom Mirror, an interactive installation by Daniel Rozin at bitforms gallery in New York.
Check out this amazing interactive installation by Daniel Rozin! The Pom Pom Mirror consists of a synchronized array of 928 spherical faux fur puffs, organized into a three-dimensional grid of beige and black. Thanks to 464 motors that control the faux fur puffs, the Pom Pom Mirror creates silhouettes of viewers in real time using motion sensors. The motion effect of the surface is produced by a forward and backward motion of the meshed beige and black faux fur puffs.
Below you can see some stills and a video of the interactive installation. Daniel Rozin’s Pom Pom Mirror is part of a current exhibition called “Descent With Modification” at bitforms gallery in New York City. The exhibition runs until July 1, 2015.
The video is also featured in our WE AND THE COLOR Vimeo Group and Channel.

It looks awesome.
Fantastic creation. A piece of art work like this takes a lot of time, effort and mostly endlessly passion.
I actually recently wrote an article on how letting creativity and feelings flow with freedom can help you to get started with creating an outstanding artwork
