The documentary found its beginning in a college project. Paul Tellefsen had the taslk to develop a trailer for a mock film. While finishing the trailer, Paul Tellefsen decided to produce a complete film and the result is “Instagram Is“. To create, shoot, and edit – all by himself, was one of the toughest challenges.
Paul created this short documentary to give some insights into what Instagram really is to most people who use this popular app. He wants to show how the app is changing the way we make and sustain relationships. All its filters and features give users the possibility to transport the nostalgic feel of old analog photography into the digital world.
The popular app can be a revive of adventure and outdoor activities, it can be a pictorial documentation of your daily life or an archive of special moments. All of this is transmitted to Instagram’s digital world and community.
