Davide Bonazzi is an Italian illustrator who lives in Bologna where he was born in the year of 1984. After first studying at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Bologna, Davide Bonazzi decided to study illustration at IED – European Institute of Design in Milan and at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna. Since 2008 he works as a full-time freelance illustrator. Since that time he has quickly gained reputation and he acquired more and more experience in the fields of editiorial as well as conceptual illustration.

Davide Bonazzi skillfully combines different digital illustration techniques with diverse textures of scanned objects in order to achieve a warm and evocative look in his conceptual illustrations.

Among his huge list of well known clients are names such as The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, Scientific American, Variety, Fortune Magazine, American Airlines, Greenpeace, Hachette Books, Il Sole 24 Ore, Einaudi, L’Espresso, Giunti Progetti Educativi, Loescher, San Paolo.

In 2013, the Creative Quarterly Journal named him as one of 100 top artists and illustrators. Except Italy, Davide Bonazzi is worldwide represented by Salzman International.
