3D Projection Mapping – Evolució (Signal Festival version) by Onionlab

3D projection mapping techniques by Onionlab for Evolució (Signal Festival version).

The creative team of Onionlab presents Evolució (Signal Festival version), the continuation of their Evolució project, which was first exhibited at the Mapping Festival in Geneva.

Evolució is a 3D mapping project that revolves around the graphic and sound abstraction concept named after ‘evolution’. It’s a visual transformation as well as construction and alteration of reality through time.

The visualization was made with 3D projection mapping techniques. This time, the Evolució 3D mapping was projected onto the façade of Santa Ludmila church in Prague. Though the piece takes the evolution concept even further. It was conceived as an open transformation process. It can also be adapted to different façades and projection surfaces and so that Evolució can continue its transformation process.

Evolució is available for further projections, as it can be adapted to various physical formats, e.g. indoor structures, or different façades.
