Tree of Joy by Thomas Yang of 100copies

Tree of Joy, a print design made with blow painting technique by Thomas Yang of 100copies.

For his last artwork in 2016 and just in time for Christmas, Thomas Yang of 100copies has experimented with the traditional Chinese blow painting technique to create “Tree of Joy”. The artwork is inspired by the joy of a bike ride through a forest. By using a straw, the artist has blown a river of ink into the silhouette of a pine tree. The first 100 copies have been sold out already, but due to countless requests, Thomas has decided to offer some strictly limited artist’s proof. Please read more below the first image.
