The Impossible Project – Digital to Analog Photography

The Instant Lab Art by The Impossible Project turns digital images of artworks into stylish analog Polaroids.

For those of you who don’t know The Impossible Project, they are the people who saved the last Polaroid factory back in 2008 and began to produce their own instant analog film among other products. In addition, they started a digital to analog photography project called the Instant Lab Art.

For the Instant Lab Art Tumblr they got in contact with 50 different emerging and unknown artists and asked them to offer up a piece of their work to put an analog spin on it. The guys of The Impossible Project used a camera (the Instant LabUniversal) that was designed to turn digital smartphone images into instant analog photos. Some of the top artists featured on the Tumblr so far include names such as Giacomo Carmagnola, Luis Nessi, Eric Dyer, Daria Golab, etc. Below you can see some example images. If you are interested to see more, feel free and visit the project on Tumblr.
