A quirky and fun 1960s inspired bar identity created by Lobby Design for Tap Room.
As an extension of his restaurant ‘Kitchen & Table’, Swedish top chef Marcus Samuelsson recently decided to open a new bar, which is located at the Clarion hotel Amaranten in Stockholm, Sweden. Named ‘Tap Room’, the bar serves premium cocktails on tap together with a fine selection of delicious appetizers. Studio Lobby Design was hired to help with a suitable visual identity. Their brand solution creates a contemporary twist on the golden age of cocktails, the 1960s. The creative people of Lobby Design have produced a series of extravagant collages, which were combined with colorful typography. They wanted them to be as visually appealing as the collages if placed by themselves but they also had to work in conjunction with the collages as a supporting element. Read more below.
