Haejung Lee is a Korean artist based in Toronto, Canada. She graduated with a BFA in Visual Arts at the York University in 2013.
Haejung Lee’s joy of documentation has become her major influence. The paintings show some details of both her appearance as well as her personality. She combines these details of reality with surrealistic elements. The paintings can contain specific memories, moods, and life experiences. In this way, these special moments will be archived in her artworks.
Haejung Lee uses different tools and techniques such as photography, painting and drawing in order to achieve her distinctive artistic style.
